タンザニア到着！ I arrived in Tanzania safe and sound.

こんにちは。木曜日に無事にタンザニアに到着しました！
エミレーツ航空でドバイ経由で計１６時間ほどかかりました。ここは赤道付近の熱帯気候の国、やはり暑いです。
日中は何もしてなくても汗がしたたります。

今は首都のダルエスサラームというところにいます。
タンザニアの国語である、スワヒリ語の研修を受けるために６週間強、この都市に滞在します。

まだ見られているところはごくわずかですがそのなかで感じたこと

①首都はやはり近代的。高層ビルもたくさんあり、道路もきれいに舗装されている。
　車もばんばん走っている。

②首都の物価は高い。
　お買い得なお店を知らず、近くの高そうなスーパーしか行けていないからというのもありますが、
確かにここダルエスサラームの物価は高いと、前から住んでいる日本人も言います。
　農産物の生産があまりなく、輸入に頼ることが多いというのも要因の１つだそう。
　ちなみにケロ●グのコーンフレークは５００〜６００円くらいしました…。

③インドっぽいところあり。
　　インド洋を挟んで近いからか、わりとインドの方（特に南インドの方）が結構タンザニアに来ているそうです。
　　インド料理屋も結構あるそう。インドが大好きな私にとっては嬉しい限りです。

いよいよここでの生活が始まります。健康体で帰ってくることを第一の目的とし、人との繋がりを大事にしながら、学びの２年間にできるよう頑張ります！

　　　　　インドにあるオートと全く同じ！ここでもインド文化を垣間見ました。

Good afternoon. I arrived in Tanzania last Thursday safe and sound.
It spent about 16 hours to come here via Dubai by flying Emirates.
Here is an equatorial and tropical country, so it's very hot.

In the daytime, I get a lot of sweats just by standing outside.

Now, I'm in the capital city, called Dar es salaam.
I'll stay here for over 6 weekes to take training of studying Swahili, which is the national language in this country.

What I notices by being here although I spent only short time and I went to only some places.

①The capitai is industrialised. There are many high buildings and clean and roads are smoothly paved with concrete.
You can see a lot of cars running on the roads.

②Prices are expensive here in the capital.
Though one of the reason might be that I don't know a good shop and I went to the near shops which seem high- class ones,
the Japanese who lived from before also said prices in Dar es salaam are expensive.
I heard one of the reason is Tanzania have little agricultural produce and so it mainly is forced to rely on imports.
By the way, a box of cornflakes of Kellog cost about $6.

③I saw there are something to do with India.
I heard a lot of Indian people (especially southern Indian people) have come to Tanzania since Tanzania is near India
through the Indian Ocean.
Someone said you can get some Indian restaurant in Dar es salaam. It made me happy because I like Indian foods so much.

The life here has started. I'll do my best to study many things here through 2 years as my first and best objective is
coming back with a healthy body and I attach big importance to relationship with the others.

【Explanation of the pitures】
●The first picture：This is Dar es salaam airport. It's big and industrialized.
●The second picture：(Maybe) this is a baobab tree. I found it quickly. Besides it stands just in front of the dormitory,
　 which I live now. Even this big city is abundunt in green resources.
●The third picture：This is a popular vehicle, called Vajaji (I don' know the correct spelling.).
　 It's the perfectly same as Auto, which is a popular vehicle in India!
　 I saw the Indian culture here also.
